Day 2 of Kwara Anti-Colos War; Kwara for Kwarans Initiative Takes Anti-Colos Campaign to Offa
The Kwara for Kwarans Initiative has continued its crusade against the consumption of illicit drugs, particularly Colos, in Kwara State. On Day 2 of its campaign, the team visited Offa, targeting key locations to spread awareness and encourage community involvement in the fight against substance abuse.
The team was spotted at various locations in Offa, including educational institutions like College of Health Technology Offa, Federal Polytechnic Offa, General Hospital Offa, Iyeru Okin, Awrab Suites.
A female trader at the Federal Polytechnic Offa commended the initiative but suggested a more targeted approach. She recommended door-to-door sensitization to reach consumers who may not be visible in public areas.
An Offa-based commercial driver and resident expressed concern about the potential impact of Colos on the youth, warning that inaction could lead to devastating consequences for the state's young population.
The Kwara for Kwarans Initiative remains committed to its mission, urging citizens to join the fight against social ills and promote a healthier, more prosperous Kwara State.
