Watch Video; Kwara for Kwarans Appeal to Government Over Insecurity in Kwara State.

A Call to Action: Protecting Kwara Communities from Kidnappings and Killings

Kwara for Kwarans Initiative is sounding the alarm and appealing to the Kwara State Government, Federal Government, and Security Agencies to take immediate action to protect our communities from the rampant kidnappings and killings plaguing our state.

The devastating trend of everyday attacks by bandits has forced residents of Patigi, Babanla, and other communities to flee their homes in droves. The relentless attacks have left our communities in a state of panic, with many residents abandoning their ancestral homes in search of safety.

We urge the government to acknowledge the severity of the situation and take decisive action to address the root causes of the problem. The people of Kwara State deserve better; they deserve to live in peace and security, without fear of kidnappings and killings.

The pro Kwara organization beseech the Government on the below intervention;

Increased Security Presence: We demand an immediate increase in security presence in the affected areas to protect our communities from further attacks.

Effective Investigation and Prosecution: We call for thorough investigations into the kidnappings and killings, and the prosecution of those responsible to ensure justice for the victims and their families.

Support for Displaced Persons: We urge the government to provide support and assistance to those displaced by the violence, including food, shelter, and medical care.

Long-term Solutions: We demand that the government develops and implements long-term solutions to address the root causes of the problem, including poverty, unemployment, and lack of access to education and healthcare.

We will continue to advocate for the rights and welfare of our people, and we expect the government to take our demands seriously and take immediate action to address the situation.

The people of Kwara State will not forget the trauma and suffering they have endured. It is time for the government to take responsibility and provide the necessary support and protection to our communities.
