Pres. Tinubu Cuts Short His 10-Day Vacation , Returns to Abuja on Tuesday

President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, ending his work vacation earlier than planned.

His Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced this in a statement on Monday night.

Tinubu had left Nigeria on September 4 for France, where he spent part of his annual holiday, with plans to also visit the United Kingdom.

During his stay in Paris, he held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Both leaders discussed areas of cooperation and agreed to strengthen bilateral ties for mutual prosperity and global stability.

The President was initially expected to resume official duties on Monday, September 22, after a 10-day working vacation scheduled to end on Friday, September 19.
