The Honorable Commissioner of Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam, has extended an invitation to all citizens over 18 to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) and participate in the ongoing e-registration exercise. This initiative aims to promote internal democracy, ensure accurate documentation of members, and build a stronger APC in Offa Local Government.
The e-registration exercise, which is open to both existing and new members, is a crucial step in strengthening the party's structure and ensuring proper documentation. According to APC's National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, the exercise has already recorded over 2 million digitally verified members within the first week, with expectations of reaching 8-9 million by the end of January.
The Kwara State Command for Health is among the stakeholders supporting the registration drive. Dr. El-Imam urges all eligible citizens to take advantage of this opportunity to join thousands who have already registered and contribute to building a stronger APC in Offa Local Government.
Key Requirements for Registration:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- Must have a voter identification number
Benefits of Registration:
- Accurate documentation of party members
- Promotion of internal democracy
- Strengthening of party structure
- Enhanced operational efficiency and mobilisation
The APC has emphasized that the e-registration exercise is not just a technical upgrade but a strategic political reform aimed at strengthening credibility, mobilisation, discipline, and electoral strength. The party's National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has directed all state coordinators to ensure that no party member is left unregistered, warning that coordinators who fail to meet this directive will be replaced.
