Kwara’s next chapter will not be written by empty promises. It will be built by a man who knows how to build. That man is Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Salako.
Born February 1, 1963, in Offa, Muideen did not meet privilege at the door. He met work. As a roadside motorcycle mechanic and truck driver hauling foodstuff from rural markets between 1979 and 1993, he earned every mile. Today he chairs Rear Breeds Global Services, Pholataiz Nigeria, Hafadis Global Concept, Zizania Agric Concept, Smart Earny Investment and Finance, and Elite Meridian Homes. Over 85 Kwarans draw salaries from companies he built with his own hands.
This is not ambition speaking. This is a record. Roads constructed. Farms producing Zizania Nigeria Rice. Labs equipped. MSMEs financed. While others talk about jobs, he creates them.
For decades, Muideen has been trusted to lead. Global President, Offa Descendants Union. Director-General, FAATAS. President, Rotary International District D9125. Chairman, Edusoko University Governing Council. Chairman, NASFAT Bida. President, Offa Descendants Youth Union. From cooperatives to campuses, he walks in, unites people, fixes systems, and leaves strength behind.
Governance is numbers, discipline, and delivery. Muideen brings a Ph.D. in Forensic Accounting and Audit, an MBA from NOUN, and Advanced Project Management and Control certification from Dubai. He is a Fellow of the Classic Institute of Entrepreneur. Put simply: he will trace every kobo, deliver every project on schedule, and grow IGR without crushing traders and artisans.
Yoruba, English, Nupe. From Offa to Baruten, Ilorin to Kaiama, he needs no interpreter. He is home in every ward because he has worked with every kind of Kwaran. His code is clear: service, empowerment, sustainable development.
1. *Produce and Prosper*: Scale Zizania Rice and allied crops into a statewide outgrower network. Link farmers to processing, storage, finance, and guaranteed markets. Food cheaper, incomes higher.
2. *Build to Connect*: Use real construction expertise to deliver rural roads, modern classrooms, and equipped PHCs. No abandoned projects. Timelines published, results delivered.
3. *Fund the Hustle*: Roll out cooperative and MSME finance models that already work in his companies. Artisans, traders, and tech youth get capital, training, and market access.
4. *Clean Books, Clean Government*: Forensic accounting standards in every ministry. Open contracting. Published budgets. Every contract tracked from award to commissioning.
5. *Skills That Pay*: Upgrade technical schools and equip science labs like Mubafiz Nigeria has done. Tie every course to a real job in agriculture, construction, ICT, or light manufacturing.
6. *Secure Every Community*: Work hand in hand with Police, Civil Defence, Army, and DSS. Reposition and train forest guards, equip local vigilante with lawful, improvised tools, and deploy intelligence-led patrols to end banditry and kidnapping. Peace in our farms, safety on our roads.
He is not a professional candidate looking for a title. He is a builder asking for the machinery of state to multiply what he has already done privately. He knows the price of cement and the cost of delay. He has paid staff in recession and still expanded. That is the grit we need in Government House.
If you want a governor who has lifted himself and others, who understands your market and your balance sheet, who will secure our land and respect our sweat, then the answer is Alhaji Muideen Olaniyi Salako.
This is not just a campaign. It is a contract for competence.
From the family compounds of Offa to the farms of Edu, from the shops of Ilorin to the borders of Baruten, let us rally behind a self-made leader.
Kwara can work. With Muideen, Kwara will work.
Muideen 2027. Builder. Unifier. Governor.
