A Governor of the People: Abdularazaq's Philanthropy Wins Hearts

A special thanksgiving prayer was held in honor of Kwara State Governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, following his successful completion of the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The event, organized by the AbdulRazaq Support Group (ASG), under the chairmanship of Alhaji Baba Abdulrauf Abdulrazaq, took place at the AGF AbdulRazaq Family House in Ilorin and drew prominent figures, including members of the Kwara State House of Assembly led by Speaker Engr. Saliu Danladi, and members of the State Executive Council.

The prayer session, led by Chief Imam Dr. Muhammad Bashir Soliu, was attended by family members, political associates, and well-wishers. Renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Lukman Isale-Koto delivered an inspiring sermon, commending the Governor for the massive development in the state, his financial support for all the Kwara pilgrims during the recent Hajj, and suggesting that the Governor's pilgrimage would bring even more divine blessings and positive changes in his leadership. He prayed for the Governor's continued success and guidance, emphasizing the importance of accountability and integrity in leadership, while noting that no individual is above the law in the eyes of Allah.

Several dignitaries, including Member of KWHA Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi, Alh. Alao Suleiman, and Alh. Gani O. Galadima, commended Governor AbdulRazaq's leadership at both state and national levels. They urged Kwarans to support his government for further development in the state.

It's worth noting that Governor AbdulRazaq has been known for his generosity, particularly during the Hajj pilgrimage. Recently, he surprised Kwara pilgrims with N120 million in support, providing each pilgrim with 120 riyals (N52,800). He also reimbursed pilgrims defrauded in a foreign currency scam, showcasing his commitment to the welfare of his people.

The Governor's leadership and philanthropic efforts have been widely appreciated, and this latest development is likely to further boost his popularity among Kwarans.
