Thomas Partey has been crowned the Ghana Footballer of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards, beating out Antoine Semenyo and Iñaki Williams for the top honor. This marks Partey's third time winning the award, having previously claimed it in 2018 and 2019.
Partey's impressive performances for both Arsenal and the Black Stars made him a deserving recipient. He played a pivotal role in Arsenal's run to the UEFA Champions League semifinals and helped the team finish second in the Premier League.
The awards ceremony, held at the Accra International Conference Centre, recognized excellence in Ghanaian football. Other winners included Doris Boaduwaa, who took home the Female Footballer of the Year award, and Razak Simpson, who won the Home-Based Footballer of the Year and Goal of the Year awards .
