According to reports, Samuel was arrested in his hideout at Epe on September 19, 2025, at around 2 pm. The suspect, an ex-convict, was recently released from prison after serving a six-year jail term for armed robbery.

Samuel's latest victim was a businessman, Gbenga Obama, who was shot and robbed of an expensive gold necklace and other valuables in broad daylight at Gbajobi Street, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, on August 18, 2025.
