A Nigerian-born cyclist, Myam Emmanuel, also known as Emmiwuks, has embarked on an extraordinary journey from Nigeria to the United States, aiming to raise awareness and support for displaced children, orphans, and vulnerable families affected by conflict and poverty.
Emmanuel, from Benue State, Nigeria, will be crossing over 20 African countries on his cycling adventure, carrying the stories of those affected by violence and hardship in his home state and country. His mission is to remind the world that every life matters and to seek support for those who have lost everything.
In a letter to former US President Donald Trump, Emmanuel expressed his desire to meet with him upon arrival in the United States to discuss ways to bring hope, healing, and safety to those affected. "This journey isn't about religion or politics, it's about humanity, unity, and purpose," Emmanuel wrote.
