On Friday, January 30th, 2026, Klub Elite executives and members gathered for an evening of recognition and celebration. The club's BOT Chairman, Prof Aliru Mustapha, was presented with the Award of Excellence by Vice Chairman Mr. Irior Elvis, Social Director Saheed Abodunrin, and other club officials, in appreciation of his outstanding contributions.
Present at the event were Engr Sylvester Obaje KSM, Architect Gbenga, and other esteemed members, who joined in congratulating Prof Mustapha, HOD Chemistry Kwasu, on this well-deserved honour.
In his acceptance speech, Prof Mustapha expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying, "I am truly humbled by this award. However, I must share with you that I will be stepping aside from active involvement in the club due to health concerns and increasing demands from my institution."
He added, "Though I will no longer be as actively involved, please know that I remain with you in spirit and will be readily available whenever needed. Your achievements and successes will continue to inspire me."
The evening also featured a party gift presentation to Prof Mustapha, symbolizing the club's appreciation for his dedication and service.
