Global technology company, Zoho, has partnered with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to support the digital transformation of up to 25,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria.

Under the partnership announced on August 26, 2026, Zoho will provide eligible MSMEs within the SMEDAN ecosystem with wallet credits worth up to ₦20 billion to access its cloud-based business applications.

The support will give participating businesses access to more than 60 Zoho applications, including Zoho Books for accounting, Bigin by Zoho CRM for customer relationship management and Zoho Workplace for business communication and collaboration.

Beyond access to the technology, beneficiaries will also receive training, workshops, one-on-one consultations and technical support to help them effectively integrate digital tools into their businesses.

The initiative aligns with SMEDAN’s GROW Nigerian strategy, which focuses on business formalisation, access to finance and markets, improved productivity and digital adoption.

Speaking on the partnership, SMEDAN Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Charles Odii, said the agency’s goal is to help small businesses move from survival to growth and prosperity by improving their productivity, reaching new markets and strengthening their ability to compete.

Zoho Nigeria Country Head, Kehinde Ogundare, said the partnership would help reduce the barriers preventing MSMEs from accessing and effectively using business technology.

The partnership is expected to strengthen the digital capacity of participating businesses and help them streamline their operations as they seek to grow in Nigeria’s increasingly digital economy.
